Standard A5 detachable, wide, and skip tooth blades are volume-priced — $25 + GST each, then $20 each for 4 or more and $18 each for 10 or more. 5-in-1 adjustables and other oversized blades are $35 + GST each. The more you send, the lower the per-blade price. No quote needed for standard work.

Yes — dog clipper blade sharpening is the core of our workshop. Andis, Wahl, Oster, Heiniger and every other grooming brand, hollow-ground back to factory geometry and cutting-tested before return. Mail-in from anywhere in Australia: post your dog clipper blades, and they are sharpened and on the way back in 7 to 11 business days.

Will sharpening change how my blades cut?

No. We restore blades to their factory edge geometry, not a generic angle. A #10 blade still cuts at #10 length, a wide blade still has the same kerf. The difference you will notice is sharpness, smoothness, and how the blade glides through coat without pulling.

Minor chips are removed during a standard sharpen at no extra cost. Severely chipped, worn-thin, or missing-tooth blades may not have enough material to restore properly. We always check first and tell you whether sharpening or replacing makes more sense.

How do I oil and maintain my blades between sharpenings?

Brush coat off blades after every dog. Apply a few drops of clipper blade oil before, during, and after each grooming session. Use blade wash weekly to dissolve build-up. Store blades in a dry case, not loose in a drawer where they can knock against each other.
