Trimmer blade sharpening, small blades, same care.
The small blades on cordless mini trimmers and paw trimmers, and close-cut balding blades, wear just like a full-size blade but are easier to damage with the wrong tools. Cutter and comb are reground flat on a calibrated wet-grind machine at the factory angle, re-set and tested before they go back.

Priced like an A5 blade, cheaper by volume.

Small blades still need a flat grind.
A trimmer blade is the same two flat faces as a full-size clipper blade, just smaller. Paw trimmers in particular work into dirty pads and between toes, so they wear fast, and a blunt one tugs at exactly the spot a dog is most sensitive about.
Cutter and comb are separated, reground dead flat, the hollow and edge re-set at the factory angle, and the blade reassembled and tested before it is packed. Balding and close-cut blades get the same care. Turnaround is 7 to 11 business days.
