Thinning shears sharpening, every tooth checked.
Thinning, texturising and blending shears have two different blades: a straight cutting blade and a toothed blade that holds the hair. Both are sharpened, every tooth is checked and dressed individually, and the tension and ride are reset so the pair takes the same bite with every close. For hairdressers, barbers and dog groomers.

One price per pair, whatever the edge.

A thinner that skips teeth takes uneven bites.
When a thinning shear goes blunt it doesn’t just feel dull. Hair slides off the straight blade instead of being cut, so the pair pulls, folds the hair or takes more weight than you meant from one side of the section. One burred or bent tooth is enough to leave a visible line.
Each pair is cleaned, the straight blade is sharpened at its original angle (convex edges on dedicated convex equipment), every tooth on the toothed blade is checked and dressed individually, and the pivot tension and ride line are reset. Nick removal and oiling are included, every pair is test-cut before it goes back, and turnaround is 7 to 11 business days.
- Every tooth checked and dressed individually
- Straight blade sharpened at its original angle
- Tension and ride line reset, then oiled

One workshop,every kind of edge.
