Specialty blades are the ones that don’t snap onto a standard A5 clipper: wide-body blades, blades made for one brand’s cordless system, and other non-standard formats. They still cut the same way, with two flat faces shearing where the teeth cross, so they go blunt the same way too.
Each blade is identified, then cutter and comb are reground dead flat on a calibrated wet-grind machine, the hollow and edge re-set at the factory angle, and the blade tested before it is packed. Specialty blades count toward the bulk discount: 5 percent off 10 or more items, 10 percent off 20 or more items, 15 percent off 50 or more items. Turnaround is 7 to 11 business days.
