Curved grooming shears sharpening, curve kept.
Curved shears do the finishing work that makes a groom look right: feet, heads, tails and topknots. They are sharpened in a jig set to follow the existing arc, so the curve comes back exactly as it left, with nicks taken out, tension reset and the pair oiled before it goes back.

One price per pair, convex or bevelled.

The curve is the whole point, so it stays.
Drag a curved shear across a flat hone and the arc gets ground away near the tip, leaving a pair that is part curved, part straight and no good for finishing. Plenty of groomers have a drawer of curves that have been "sharpened" that way.
Curves are sharpened on dedicated jigs that follow the existing arc. Premium convex curves go on the same convex equipment used for Japanese hairdressing scissors. Every pair has its nicks taken out, tension reset and is oiled and test-cut before it goes back. Turnaround is 7 to 11 business days.
